Most large NHS hospitals have sexual health clinics or NHS STD clinics.
They may also be known as the genitourinary medicine (GUM) clinic. Services are free, and your visit and medical record will be confidential. The Family Planning Association maintains a searchable database of NHS GUM clinics.
However, some people may prefer to go to a private clinic.
