Mr Paul Chatrath MA (Cantab) MD (Lond) FRCS (ORL-HNS) is a Consultant ENT and Facial Plastic Surgeon in Essex. Mr Chatrath manages all general ENT conditions and has a specialist interest in nose and sinus problems, allergy, cosmetic deformities, children's ENT disorders, voice problems and snoring. His NHS practices are at Queen’s Hospital in Romford, King George Hospital in Ilford, and the Royal National Throat, Nose & Ear Hospital, Gray's Inn Road, London, where he also provides private treatment. Mr Chatrath also runs private practices at Spire Roding Hospital, Ilford, Spire Hartswood Hospital, Brentwood, and Nuffield Health Brentwood Hospital, Brentwood.
Mr Chatrath graduated from Cambridge University and The London Hospital Medical College with distinctions in three subjects and proxime accessit to the University of London Gold Medal. He completed his Higher Surgical Training in ENT Surgery in London. After passing the final FRCS examination, Mr Chatrath was granted a Certificate of Completion of Training and now holds a substantive NHS consultant post at Barking Havering & Redbridge University Hospitals NHS Trust, London.

Research interests
During his final years of training, Mr Chatrath completed a higher research degree (MD) in the diagnosis of benign versus malignant laryngeal pathology. He was also awarded the Lionel College & New York Travelling Fellowships by the Royal College of Surgeons of England, and travel grants by the Royal Society of Medicine and the Journal of Laryngology & Otology to pursue further training in specialist units in Chicago and Amsterdam.
